Southsea Belles began life as a Cotswold women's  side in 1977, the year of the Queen's Silver Jubilee and although there are no original dancers in the side now, the prize for longest duration  (or should that be  dedication?) has to go to Kate,  who has danced continuously since about 1982.

Arrowhead began as a small  group of Morris dancers based in Portchester. Dances came from both Cotswold and Border traditions, and as the side grew, it transferred its base to Fareham.
